From client payment to spending

Freelancer paid in USDT: from your wallet to your transfers

As a freelancer paid in USDT, you set the pace: you convert when an expense comes up, not before.

  1. You get paid to your wallet

    On your clients’ schedule

Your client sends USDT to an address you own. CryptoIBAN is not involved at this stage.

  2. You deposit what you need

    Whenever you choose

You send the amount you need to your deposit address, on the network shown.

  3. You convert at the price shown

    Price shown upfront

You see the firm price, 1% fee included, then you confirm. For USDT, that price follows the euro-dollar rate.

  4. You pay in euros

    By next business day

Rent, software, subcontractors: by SEPA transfer to 41 countries, from an IBAN in your name.

Before your first deposit

A wallet of your own, and proof that it is

Choose a deposit amount of at least $500, then select the asset and network. Send the exact crypto amount to the address displayed in the payment modal, with network fees paid separately.

So deposit from your own wallet, not straight from a client’s: you, the account holder, are the one converting.

A deposit address is valid for one asset, on one network. Crypto sent on the wrong network may be lost for good.

  • USDT on Tron (TRC20) or Ethereum (ERC20)
  • BTC on Bitcoin, ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana

For your accountant

Documents your accountant can work with

A dedicated IBAN for your conversions keeps your crypto flows apart from your other accounts, which makes tracking simpler.

  • Monthly PDF statements

Each month, your conversions and transfers on a single document.

  • One receipt per transfer

Payee, amount, date and reference: proof of every supplier payment.

  • A known price for each conversion

The firm price and fees appear before you confirm: the euro amount is the one you accepted.

Paid in stablecoins: your questions

Can my clients pay me directly to this IBAN?

That is not what it is designed for. The account is for converting your crypto and paying in euros; keep getting paid in stablecoins to your wallet, or to your usual account. The exact terms are in the contract you receive before opening.

Does the euro-dollar rate change what I get?

USDT aims to track the US dollar. Its value in euros changes with the dollar/euro exchange rate. Review the rate, fees and net euros in your conversion quote before confirming.

Can I convert only part of my USDT?

Yes. You deposit and convert the amount you need; the rest stays in your wallet, under your control.

A client pays me in USDT. Can I use it?

Yes. USDT is available on Tron (TRC20) and Ethereum (ERC20). Choose the network before opening the payment modal, then send the exact amount to the address shown. The minimum deposit is $500.

Can I pay my subcontractors from this account?

Yes, if they have an IBAN in the SEPA area: a transfer in euros, the invoice number as the reference, a PDF receipt. The account remains personal, in your name; see paying contractors with crypto.

How much does a conversion cost?

1% all-in, with no hidden spread, and a firm price shown before you confirm. Above €20,000 a month, pricing is quoted on request.
