Remote work
Digital nomads: one euro account that stays put.
As a digital nomad, you change cities over the months; your Belgian IBAN stays the same. Your crypto becomes euros and your payments go out by SEPA transfer, from an account in your own name.

A mobile life, payments that stay put
For a digital nomad, every move brings back the same questions. This month from Lisbon, next month from Valencia or Athens: how do you pay for your place, your insurance, your coworking desk, everything billed in euros?
CryptoIBAN gives you a Belgian IBAN in your own name that does not change when you change cities. You deposit your crypto, convert it at the price shown and pay by SEPA transfer to 41 countries.
This account does not replace a place of residence: it assumes you have one, which you declare when you open it.

What digital nomads get
-
An IBAN that stays
Your IBAN does not depend on the city you are in: your saved payees and scheduled transfers stay in place.
-
No fixed costs
€0 to open, €0 a month and €0 per SEPA transfer. You pay 1% on what you convert, when you convert it.
-
Human support
A question about a transfer or a check? A person replies in English or French within 24 business hours.
-
A protected account
Two-factor authentication protects your account, including when you log in from a shared coworking or hotel network.
Security
The same safeguards, from one country to the next
Your euros are e-money, safeguarded by an authorised e-money institution, separately from its own funds. They are not deposits.
We will never ask for your recovery phrase, your passwords or your codes, by email or by message.
As EU law requires, every account holder is identified and every transfer stays traceable: that is what lets your IBAN be treated like any other.
What we will never do
- Promise returns or interest
- Ask for your recovery phrase
- Promise anonymity
- Hide a spread in the rate
Nomadic does not mean without a tax residence
A Belgian IBAN does not determine your tax residence. Your obligations depend on your situation; consult your tax authority or adviser when moving between countries.
Questions nomads ask
Does the country I am in matter?
Only your country of residence counts, declared at opening, not the city you work from this month. The only exceptions: US persons and residents of sanctioned countries.
I have no fixed address. Can I open an account?
Enter your first and last name, then make an initial deposit of at least $500. Your IBAN is usable once the payment is confirmed. Country eligibility is shown when creating your login.
What if I change my country of residence?
Let us know: your address and tax residence must stay up to date. Recent documents may be requested.
What does the account cost in months I don’t use it?
Nothing fixed: €0 to open and no subscription. You pay 1% when you convert, and €0 per SEPA transfer.
Can I pay for a flat or a coworking space in another country?
Yes, if the payee has an IBAN in one of the 41 SEPA countries and accepts a transfer in euros. The account sends SEPA transfers in euros, not other currencies.
