Pricing method
How your conversion price is calculated
The rates shown on this website and in the simulator are indicative: they use the public price of a major exchange, Kraken, to give you an order of magnitude.
When you convert, you get a quote: the rate applied, the 1% fee and the exact amount in euros. This price is firm and shown to you before you confirm, as the MiCA regulation requires (art. 77). Until you confirm, nothing is converted.
The 1% fee covers everything: no exchange-rate spread is hidden in the rate. The amount in the quote is what you pay.

What you don’t pay
The lines that often inflate the bill, and where they stand here.
| Fee | At CryptoIBAN |
|---|---|
| Account opening | €0 |
| Subscription or account maintenance | €0 |
| Outgoing SEPA transfer | €0 |
| Exchange-rate spread hidden in the rate | None |
| Crypto deposit | No CryptoIBAN fee |
| PDF statements and receipts | Included |
The only fee CryptoIBAN charges is the conversion fee, 1% all-in. Network fees are paid to the blockchain.
Network fees don’t go to CryptoIBAN
To send crypto, you pay a network fee, collected by the blockchain and not by CryptoIBAN. It depends on the network and how busy it is; your wallet or exchange shows it before you send. For a small amount, your choice of network, among those supported, can make a real difference.

More than €20,000 a month: pricing on request
Who it’s for
If you regularly convert more than €20,000 a month, for example for high rent, several contractors or a family’s expenses, we set a price on request.
How to ask
For a monthly volume above €20,000, contact support with your expected amount. A person replies within 24 business hours, in English or French.
The rules stay the same: a firm price shown before every conversion and, for large amounts, documents on the source of funds.
FAQ
Your questions about conversion fees
What are your crypto to euro conversion fees?
1% all-in, whichever supported asset you use (USDT, BTC, ETH and SOL). The percentage covers everything, with no margin slipped into the rate, and you see it applied in the quote before you confirm.
Is the simulator rate the one I will get?
Not necessarily. The simulator shows an indicative rate; your firm price is the one in the quote, shown before you confirm. For BTC, ETH or SOL, the price can change noticeably from one moment to the next.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Everything we charge is in the fee schedule: €0 to open, €0 a month, €0 per transfer and 1% on the conversion. The only other costs are blockchain network fees, which don’t go to us.
Who pays the fee when I pay my rent?
You do. The conversion fee is added on your side and shown in the quote; it is not deducted from the transfer sent to your landlord.
Is the initial deposit an activation fee?
No. The initial deposit starts at $500 and funds your balance after confirmation. Network fees are paid separately by your wallet. A later conversion to euros is subject to the 1% conversion fee.
Is there a minimum amount?
Yes, €10 per SEPA transfer. With no subscription, you pay nothing until you convert.
A clear price before every conversion
No subscription to pay off: you only pay when you convert, at the price shown in the quote. Your account opens online.
