SOL conversion

Convert Solana (SOL) to EUR, when it’s time to pay

Convert SOL to EUR from the Solana network when a payment is due, then pay rent, a bill or a contractor by SEPA transfer from a Belgian IBAN in your own name. The price swings sharply: nothing is converted until you have seen and confirmed the firm price.

The network

One network, several assets, one address each

SOL is the native asset of the Solana network. Under MiCA, it is a crypto-asset other than an asset-referenced token or an e-money token: its price swings sharply.

We accept SOL only on Solana. A Solana wallet may hold other tokens, but this does not mean they can be deposited here. USDT deposits use Tron or Ethereum; EURC deposits are currently unavailable.

Keep some SOL in your wallet to pay Solana network fees. Use only the asset, network and address shown in your payment window.

On the Solana network

Choose the matching network

Asset Available deposit networks
SOL Solana
USDT Tron (TRC20), Ethereum (ERC20)
BTC Bitcoin
ETH Ethereum

Use the asset and network shown in your payment modal. An address for one payment must not be reused for another asset or network.

Method

Converting a volatile asset, calmly

  • When you pay

Convert when an expense comes up, and only the amount you need. The rest of your SOL stays in your wallet.

  • A reserve for due dates

For rent or a bill due on a fixed date, convert ahead and keep a euro buffer on your account.

  • The firm price is what counts

The simulator’s rate is indicative. The price that applies is shown before you confirm the conversion.

FAQ

Converting SOL: common questions

Which network should I send my SOL on?

The Solana network only, to your SOL deposit address. Each address works for one asset on one network, and funds sent on the wrong network may be lost permanently.

Can I send my Solana USDT to the same address?

No. CryptoIBAN does not accept USDT on Solana. Use Tron (TRC20) or Ethereum (ERC20) and the address shown for your USDT payment. EURC deposits are currently unavailable.

Why keep some SOL in my wallet?

Because Solana network fees are paid in SOL. Keep enough SOL for the network fee and any later transactions from your wallet.

What if the SOL price drops after I send?

The euro amount drops too: the firm price you confirm is what applies, not the rate at the time you sent. For a large or fixed-date expense, it is wiser not to wait until the last minute.

Does converting SOL to euros have tax consequences?

It may be taxable in your country of tax residence. And if you are a French tax resident, accounts held abroad must be declared (form 3916, and 3916-bis for digital-asset accounts). We cannot advise on your situation: your tax office or an adviser can.
